High School All Grades
At Horizon High School, our High School offers subjects chosen specifically for University Preparation, ensuring that each boy can do subjects according to his particular strengths.
From Grade 8 onwards, students compete in Olympiads at an International level, as we send selected students abroad to compete at International Olympiads.
We also offer free Saturday tuition and numerous other extra classes to assist all our boys to achieve to the best of their ability.
Horizon High School offers a fully equipped dormitory. It holds a homely yet disciplined environment where pupils live and learn.
Apart from Horizon High School outstanding academic records it also provides for its students on a more basic level by offering them the choice of living on the school’s premises for convenience of traveling and studying.
The teachers at Horizon High School spend vast amounts of their free and personal time tutoring and teaching students after the normal school day is done.
Students enjoy their meals in our eating hall which doubles as an entertainment hall which is also used for meetings held between staff and students. Students who require it, have access to the computers at school for study and research purposes.
The facility is cleaned daily as neatness and cleanliness is a priority.
Once you have received an acceptance letter for your child, the registration fee is payable immediately.
The registration fee is Non-refundable and not deductible from your child’s tuition.
NB: Your first monthly tuition payment for the year will be due on 3 January.
Tuition is payable in ADVANCE, no later than the 3rd of each month. For example: your January tuition needs to be paid no later than 3 January.
The School Administration would like to maintain a cash-less office. We therefore request that ALL school fees be transferred directly into the school’s bank account, using your ACCOUNT NUMBER as reference.
Please keep record of all your payments. We do not have card facilities nor accept cash.
A Family discount of 10% (on the monthly payments) will be awarded to the older sibling that also attends Horizon High School.
The monthly tuition for Grade 12 is spread over 8 months (January to August), and all other grades over 10 months (January to October). Please pay your account timeously, even during school holidays, payments are still due monthly on or before the 3rd of each month.
