Houses
The house system is a tradition of HORIZON HIGH. All students are allocated to one of four houses:

Red – More Fire
Green – Hulk Smash
Yellow – Washa
Blue – Smurfs

New students will be allocated to houses during the first two weeks of school. Students stay in their allocated houses for the duration of their stay at HORIZON HIGH.

Houses compete against each other throughout the year. Different activities carry different ‘house points’ with the winning house being the house that accumulates the highest number of points over the academic and sports year. The disciplinary system will be included in the overall point allocation.


Outings&Tours
Students attend different outdoor activities/Excursions throughout the academic year.
Educational excursions (once a year) are compulsory and Fees will be levied according to the trip or activity.
